Prof SriniVas Sadda
President & Chief Scientific Officer, Doheny Eye Institute 

Prof SriniVas R. Sadda, MD, is the President and Chief Scientific Officer of the Doheny Eye Institute, the Stephen J. Ryan - Arnold and Mabel Beckman Endowed Chair, and Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) Geffen School of Medicine. He received his MD from Johns Hopkins, where he also completed ophthalmology residency and neuro-ophthalmology and medical retina fellowships (Wilmer Eye Institute). 

Prof Sadda's major research interests include automated retinal image analysis, retinal substructure assessment, and advanced retinal imaging technologies. He has more than 430 peer-reviewed publications and 20 book chapters, and has given over 400 presentations worldwide. Prof Sadda also serves as an editorial board member of Ophthalmic Surgery, Lasers & Imaging, Retina, Graefe's, Ophthalmology Retina, and Ophthalmology. He has been named to the Best Doctors of America list for several consecutive years. 



Dr Srinivas Rao
Director, Darshan Eye Care & Surgical Centre

Dr Srinivas K. Rao is the Director of Darshan Eye Clinic, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is also the Head of Department, Cornea service, Sunetra Family Eye Care, Kolkata; Honorary Professor, Chinese University of Hong Kong, HKSAR and Professor, Muvpgo, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Dr Rao is an experienced cataract surgeon, and one of the few in his city adept in managing complicated forms of cataract - in children, secondary lens implantation, and dislocated lenses. He is a corneal surgeon of National and International repute, acknowledged as an authority in the management of complicated corneal problems. He was the first in India, Hong Kong, and China to perform Keratoprosthesis surgery, and currently is one of only two surgeons in India offering this procedure, which provides hope in end-stage blindness.



Dr David Zee
Professor, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine

Prof Zee came to Johns Hopkins in 1965 as a medical student. After residency there he joined their Neurology faculty in 1975. He has been coauthor of five editions of The Neurology of Eye Movements with Dr R.John Leigh. He received the Ottorino Rossi prize from the University of Pavia, the Hallpike-Nylen medal and Barany gold medal from the University of Uppsala and the Koetser Brain Research Prize in Zurich. He has received the Hopkins life-time achievement award for biomedical education. He gave inaugural lectures named for Swithin Meadows, Houston Merritt, Alfred Kestenbaum and James Sharpe. He was the Inaugural Visiting Neurology Educator at the Mayo Clinic and received the inaugural Frank Ford Award for resident teaching. He was designed a "Champion of Vestibular Medicine" by the Vestibular Disorders Association. He has had continuous NIH funding since 1975. He has had numerous trainees and has scientific 470 publications.
